Frequently asked questions about the new NCPAFCU.org
General Website Design and functionality
The primary goal of the website redesign is to enhance the user experience and optimize the overall functionality of the site. Our aim is to create a more modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly website that aligns with the evolving needs and expectations of our members and prospective members.
Through the redesign, we focused on improved navigation, a more simplified user journey, and high-quality content.
There are some notable elements that remain the same:
Website domain
The domain for our website remains unchanged. Users can access the website using the familiar domain: https://www.ncpafcu.org. This ensures that existing bookmarks and links will still lead users to the right place.
Press Pass
Members can easily navigate to Press Pass to manage their accounts online.
Product and service information
Information about all the products and services offered by the Credit Union is available on the website. Members can explore details about various NCPAFCU products and services just as they did on the previous website.
Press Pass sign in experience
No. There are no changes to Press Pass at this time.
No, the sign in process to Press Pass is not changing. The only change is the location of the "Sign in" button, which will now be on the top right side of the main navigation bar on desktop and mobile device. Once you select the button, you'll still be able to enter your credentials just as you did before.
Accessibility and security
Verifying the legitimacy of a website is crucial for online security. The domain remains the same (https://www.ncpafcu.org). If members have bookmarked our site, they will be redirected to the new ncpafcu.org. Here are some tips to follow to ensure it is our legitimate site:
- Check the URL: Ensure the URL in the address bar is exactly https://www.ncpafcu.org and doesn’t contain any misspellings or additional characters.
- Look for HTTPS when signing in to Press Pass: A secure website will use https://, the “s” indicates a secure connection, and it is standard for websites that handle sensitive information.
- Check for a secure connection.
- If using Edge or Safari, in the address bar there should be a padlock icon, indicating a secure connection.
- If using Chrome, there is a settings icon next to the URL in the address bar. Clicking this will open a small pop-up with site information. This pop-up will state the site is secure.
