Balance transfers

Pay off your credit card balances from other institutions by transferring your balance to your NCPAFCU Visa Credit Card with no balance transfer fee.2 Request a balance transfer online or stop by your local branch for processing.

Credit line increase

If you already have our Visa Credit Card and need additional buying power, you can request a credit line increase4 through Press Pass, at your local branch, or by calling Member Services Support at (888) 732-8562. Additionally, we may automatically increase your credit limit from time to time based on your repayment history and other factors. We will notify you of any automated increase. Contact us if you’d like to decline any automated increases.

Members must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for lending services. New lending is limited to residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia. All loans subject to Credit Union underwriting standards. Terms and conditions apply.

  1. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. APR is the cost over the loan term expressed as a rate. The variable APR for purchases and balance transfers equals the U.S. Prime Rate plus a margin of between 4.50% and 7.50%, based on your creditworthiness at account opening. The variable APR is subject to change, with the U.S. Prime Rate, as published in The Wall Street Journal on the first day of your billing period that begins in January, April, July and October. Cash Advances have a fixed APR of 18.00%. The APR will not exceed the maximum permitted by applicable law.
  2. Interest begins to accrue on Purchases and Balance Transfers from the day the transaction is added to the daily balance and continues to accrue until the total amount owed is paid. You can avoid paying interest on purchases and balance transfers if you pay the entire balance for the prior billing cycle by the payment due date in the current billing cycle. You cannot avoid paying interest on cash advances.
  3. Visa Zero Liability Policy for unauthorized purchase transactions means you are not responsible for fraudulent transactions on your card if you promptly notify us of any unauthorized use. For additional details visit Visa’s Zero Liability Policy.
  4. Credit line increases are permitted for existing credit cards regardless of the state in which you reside.
